Kadria is a luxurious range of natural skin care products, specifically formulated for pregnancy and motherhood. Kadria products - skin care formulated from experience

Kadria’s founder, Rebecca Kadria Wright, grew up in Yemen, surrounded by the exotic aroma of Frankincense, Ambergris, Sandalwood and Myrrh. As a young woman, she became interested in aromatherapy which she went on to formally study after the birth of her first child.

During her second pregnancy, she discovered a mine of misinformation about the use of essential oils and massage on expectant women. Worried about the effect aromatherapy oils could have on her and her unborn child, she began to research this subject in detail.
Rebecca qualified in pregnancy massage, and started blending and prescribing essential massage oils for her clients. To ensure women could “pamper with peace of mind”, she carefully researched every essential oil used in pregnancy developing a range of skin care that was natural, safe, effective and benefitted both mother and baby.

Kadria natural skincare products combine Rebecca’s Arabic roots with her passion for aromatherapy and motherhood, imbued with the scents, herbal, floral, spicy and balsamic, of her childhood.

Kadria is the Arabic for power – a word which aptly describes their skincare products.   
The Middle East and, indeed, cultures across the world have used waxes, oils, butters and botanical and herbal remedies for thousands of years, harnessing the power of plants to promote health and beauty. Today, many cultures still use these traditional remedies alongside modern medicine.

Kadria takes the essence of those traditional Middle Eastern remedies and adds a modern twist to create an innovative and truly natural skin care range. Rebecca and her team have great respect for modern science and medicine, responsible for drastically improving life in the west, not least for pregnant women and their babies. However, they feel life could be even better if we looked to nature for the things we need to sustain us; from the food we eat to the products we put on our skin.

Kadria skin care – organic products, made with care

All Kadria natural skincare products are handmade in small batches as close to the point of sale as possible. This ensures the customer gets the full benefit of the natural, active ingredients which are often fragile and short lasting.

The active ingredients in the Kadria Natural skincare range are Middle Eastern botanicals like Frankincense, Myrrh, Egyptian Rose Geranium, Rose Bergamot and. Neroli. All products in the Kadria range use Fair-trade extra-virgin olive oil from Palestine. Fair Trade Shea butter, Cocoa butter and Apricot Kernel oil are also used. Every raw ingredient, including vegetable and essential oils and waxes, has a specific place in the recipe.

Kadria Skincare is 100% natural and organic. Designed to soothe, moisturise and protect mother and baby’s skin, every natural skin care product consists of meticulously researched raw materials chosen for their positive effects on the delicate skin of both mother and child. All products have been safety assessed under European law, using specific toxicology tools, to ensure their suitability for infants and pregnant and lactating women.

Ethical, organic beauty products for mother and baby

Kadria are committed to responsible practices and, wherever possible, use Fair Trade products from sustainable sources; full Fair Trade Certification is pending. All products contain organic ingredients, 100% vegetable derived and nothing is animal tested. Kadria also use environmentally friendly packaging with pretty biodegradable boxes you can keep and reuse.

One of the bestselling pregnancy products in the Kadria skincare range is the Belly Balm containing Neroli and Rosehip. Rich yet lightly absorbed, this superb cream calms irritated skin and helps prevent stretch marks while the top notes of Mandarin, Bergamot and Neroli can help calm nerves and lift emotions.
Another favourite is Kadria Balancing Face Oil; an intensive facial treatment containing Palmarosa  and Blackseed to help brighten hormonal skin and stave off fine lines and wrinkles.

For those in labour or due, Kadria Labour Oil with Evening Primrose Oil and Clary Sage is calming and soothing and can help with uterine contractions and backache.

Containing a special synergistic blend of essential oils, they include a lightly scented baby oil to calm, soothe and soften young skin and stimulate the immune system. There is also a Kadria baby balm containing Sea Blackthorn and Cocoa butter.
