The Bodhi philosophy
Bodhi is a Sanskrit word that means enlightenment; to awaken or understand. In Buddhism, Bodhi refers to a Buddha’s ability to understand the knowledge of things. The name Buddha means “the awakened one.” The Sacred Fig, traditionally the Tree of Life and Knowledge, is also known as the Bodhi tree.
