Swedish scientists develop new alternative to animal testing

Bee stings deliver natural version of Botox

A natural skin care range containing bee stings has been launched in the UK, giving many of the same benefits as Botox treatments. The Manuka Doctor skin care products, on sale across the UK at Holland and Barrett stores, have had sales grow by 3,000 per cent since the launch of the range in December, and have attracted celebrity fans including Kylie Minogue. High street natural skincare brands found to contain many synthetic ingredients

More than 300 companies declared champions of safe cosmetics

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a joint venture involving over 150 environmental, consumer and health organisations, has recently concluded its seven year campaign to get companies to produce safer cosmetics, hair and skin care products.
