A former market trader is hoping that she will be the next apprentice to hear the magic words “You’re hired” from Lord Sugar on the hit BBC1 show The Apprentice.

Susan Ma, 21, from Croydon appears to be one of the early favourites to scoop the first prize after the first week of tasks. She is alongside another 13 hopeful contestants that want to scoop a £250,000 investment from business tycoon Alan Sugar – after two contestants have already been fired in the first week.
