Campaign for Safe Cosmetics names natural Champions

More than 300 companies declared champions of safe cosmetics

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a joint venture involving over 150 environmental, consumer and health organisations, has recently concluded its seven year campaign to get companies to produce safer cosmetics, hair and skin care products. At the end of the campaign, 321 companies had achieved all the agreed goals, with a further 111 making significant progress. (more…)

Cosmetic unit break in

Approximately between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning, an industrial cosmetic unit was broken in to, with many products being stolen. Among these beauty products were expensive organic cosmetics, included some branded names. The break in has caused the industrial estate both collateral and financial damage. (more…)
