Morrissey has become the latest celebrity to join up for ‘No Cruel Cosmetics’, a campaign started by the BUAV a year ago. The campaign is aimed at keeping the pressure on the EC to fulfil its promise to stop allowing the sale of animal-tested cosmetics in EU markets by 2013. Evocutis, a skin science company that specialises in technology for testing skin care products, has launched LabSkin, a ‘living skin’ model that can give useful indicators of how human skin will react to different skin care ingredients.
